In the satirical Double QB Dynasty league, owner Riley started both QB1 Marcus “Captain Checkdown” Webb and QB2 Devon “Clipboard Cosplay” Lane — same real-world team, same game, same confused group chat.

Riley’s thesis, shared in a voice memo nobody downloaded: “One of them has to throw a touchdown. That’s math.”

They combined for 11.8 fantasy points while Riley’s opponent started a waiver tight end who caught two scores. Riley called it “variance” and immediately listed Webb as “untouchable” in trade block notes.

League mates asked if Riley had heard of correlation. Riley sent a link to a blog post about “anti-fragile rosters” written in 2014 and last updated never.
