1. Who we are

2. What this notice covers

This notice explains how Homefield and our vendors use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies when you use the site and related apps. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

3. What we use today (summary)

Homefield does not run third-party advertising pixels or product-analytics suites (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) by default.

We and our processors may use:

Essential / functional

  • Authentication & session (Clerk): cookies or similar storage needed to keep you signed in and secure your account.
  • Payments (Stripe): cookies / storage used by Stripe Checkout and Customer Portal when you start or manage a purchase. Stripe processes payment data under its own policies; Homefield does not store full card numbers.
  • Security & hosting (e.g., Vercel / edge): technical cookies or headers that protect the service and route traffic.
  • Preference & product storage (browser localStorage / sessionStorage): including league/DFS session data for free local-only use, and an anonymous session id used only to connect first-party funnel steps without an account (never emails, host tokens, Ask text, or CSV contents).

Analytics / advertising

  • No third-party analytics or ad cookies by default.
  • Limited first-party funnel events may be recorded on our own servers (see Privacy Policy §3). Those are not advertising cookies.

If we later add analytics cookies or third-party SDKs, we will update this Notice and the Privacy Policy and, where required, obtain consent before non-essential cookies run.

4. Why we use them

  • Provide the service (sign-in, Pro checkout, sync relays, DFS tools).
  • Keep the product secure and reliable.
  • Remember settings you choose and support local-only free use.
  • Measure product steps with first-party events described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your choices

  • Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Blocking essential cookies may break sign-in, checkout, or sync.
  • Clear localStorage / site data for homefieldfantasy.com to remove local tokens, DFS sessions, and the anonymous session id.
  • Manage Stripe billing via Customer Portal when enabled, or contact support@homefieldfantasy.com.

6. Vendors that may set cookies

Depending on the feature you use: Clerk (auth), Stripe (payments), and hosting/CDN providers. AI model providers process prompts you send but are not described here as cookie vendors. See the Privacy Policy for the full processor list.
